Leave Santander in the early morning by minivan. Enjoy the beautiful landscape of the mountains, rivers and Hermida gorge on the 2-hour drive to Fuente Dé.

Once in Fuente Dé, you will meet with your mountain guide and you will take the cable car to go to the upper station of Picos. In only 4 minutes, you will be at a height over 1800m above sea level. From the upper station, you will enjoy gorgeous views over the Picos de Europa mountains and Fuente Dé.

From there, you will enjoy a 3-4 hours hiking experience in Picos with your guide walking the mountain down to the village of Espina on easy routes (15km distance with ca. 1000m negative slope). You will love this hiking experience in this unique frame!

Afterward, you will drive back to Potes, the capital of the Liébana region. This little village is one of the nicest villages in Cantabria for its medieval houses surrounded by a spectacular landscape of mountains and rivers. You will enjoy some free time here for lunch and walking around.

After an intense morning, it will be time for a reward. You will stop at Hotel & Spa La Hermida to enjoy 1.15 hours of spa water circuit. The waters of this spa are considered among the best in Europe for their medicinal mineral properties.
