Easy, flat morning walk taking in lovely views and walk through the forest. Hotel pick up then about 20 minutes drive to start the walk, finish with coffee at local cafe. Guide was informative but had quite a pace on so not much time to take everything in.

Es hatten insgesamt nur 4 Touristen diesen Ausflug gebucht, der Ausflug fand trotzdem statt. Dadurch war alles sehr überschaubar. Wir hatten mit Ruben einen super Guide, sehr informativ, lustig und locker. Die Tour war auf Englisch gebucht, Ruben hat die Informationen aber versucht auf Deutsch zu vermitteln. Auch wenn nicht jedes Wort perfekt übersetzt war, war alles verständlich. Mit Flavio hatten wir einen super Fahrer. Hotelabholung, Fahrt zum Start der Wanderung und Abholung am Ende perfekt.

Die Halbtageswandererung war insgesamt sehr schön, einfache Wege entlang der Levada do Norte, sachkundige Führung durch Sara, unseren Guide und eine nette kleine Gruppe. Leider waren wir auf eine Ganztageswanderung vorbereitet, durch TUI gebucht (wurde auch so bestätigt) und waren daher enttäuscht das der Weg so kurz war. Außerdem fand zeitgleich eine Autoralley oberhalb der Levada statt, was sehr gestört hat. Immer wieder hörte man das hochtourige Fahren und die Bremsgeräusche. Schade ...

The walk was flat and easy, so perfect for us as a family with young children. The guide was knowledgeable and told us some interesting information about the plants and landscape of Madeira. The cafe visit at the end was.a much needed toilet break for the kids and a chance for a lovely pastry.
