Enjoy a tour that combines two of the best wineries in Moldova. There you will visit not only the wineries themselves, but also the vineyards, learn how wines are groomed, and their method of preparation. You will also discover the south of the country and its traditional-style villages.
Your tour will start with a visit to Purcari Winery, a French-style castle. On your way to Purcari, you will visit the church in Causeni built in 1763 with its colorful frescoes. Château Purcari is renown for its premium wines, which have received awards and praise from international competitions like Decanter, Challenge International du Vin, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, International Wine, and Spirit Competition as well as the legendary patronage of the royal court of Great Britain. Here you will discover the historical part of the factory and visits cellars, where wines are maturated in oak tanks and bottles. The tour includes a tasting of 3 different wines.
The second winery you will visit will be Asconi Winery, very popular in Asia and Europe for their ice wine. Asconi Winery opens its doors to tourists offering the opportunity to see the vineyards, the process of obtaining the wine and a wine tasting. Asconi has planted 506 hectares (1250 acres) of vineyards of various varieties, such as Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat Ottonel.
At the end of the tour you will be brought back to your place of stay in Chisinau.
