Santo Antão is the most famous Cape Verdean island for hiking trips. Its tropical valleys, unusual vegetation, and picturesque mountain villages give it its typical image. During the hike, you’ll learn a lot about Cape Verdean culture, enjoy breathtaking viewpoints, and visit unspoiled places.
This is a hidden track and takes some know-how to explore, where a guide is definitely recommended. From a little path uphill the valley close to Xoxo you’ll walk towards the Vinha waterfall. Get closer to the famous rock Lombo de Pico and walk through the sugarcane plantations all the way to Rabo Curto. This track has many curves and twists leading from one beautiful landscape to the next.
Included is also a lunch, served in a small, familiar restaurant.
