Your host, Dionysia, will teach you the secrets behind the Greek dish pita-gyros, where youâll make everything, including the pita bread! Under your hostâs helpful guidance, you will also make and enjoy traditional Greek mezze with patsavouropita or bougatsa for dessert! With Dionysia sharing her grandmotherâs recipe for tzatziki, youâll be cooking like a local in no time!
You can eat as much as you can! Please come hungry! The menu includes: traditional Greek Apetisers, the Mezze. You'll first prepare traditional Greek appetizers such as Greek Salad, sheep village sausage, cheese, peppers, and olives plater along with a different kind of bread.
You'll prepare the famous street food from scratch. Expect to learn how to make pita bread, tzatziki, tyrokayteri and gyros (veggie, chicken, and pork). For dessert you'll prepare patsavouropita, Greek cheesecake or halva. You can have beer or wine to drink.
