Join a local family for a cultural food experience. Each encounter is personal, involving only your party and the local family.

Upon meeting the local family and enjoying your welcome drink, you'll have the chance to assist in meal preparation. If you prefer, you can simply observe, jot down notes, or capture the moment with photographs. Just relax and savour the experience.

All local families speak at least basic English, providing an opportunity for engaging conversations about daily life in their country. Feel free to discuss anything you're curious about, including sharing insights about your own culture and homeland. Most host families are genuinely intrigued by stories from different cultures.

Know in advance:

A minimum of 2 adults is required for this activity
On the terrace, you’ll find many shoes. It is customary to take off your shoes before entering a house
Clothes should respect the local culture and not show too much skin
The local family will invite you to help with the preparations of your meal
It is recommended to discuss when you or the local family want to take pictures (and/or post them on social media). Most of the time, everyone is fine with it
