Following the exhibitions “Debout!” (2018), “Au-delà de la couleur” (2021) and “Forever Sixties” (2023) at Couvent des Jacobins, the City of Rennes and Rennes Métropole are once again teaming up with the Pinault Collection.
In summer 2025, Couvent des Jacobins will be the venue for a significant new exhibition featuring 90 pieces (including paintings, sculptures, and drawings) from the world's most extensive collection of contemporary art, focusing on portraiture and perception.
Your ticket also grants entry to the extraordinary collection of Claire Tabouret's works at the Museum of Fine Arts in Rennes.
“Les Yeux dans les yeux” (Eye to Eye) is an exhibition that traverses art history, exploring the relationship between self-image and the perception of others in the era of social media. It also delves into the concept of disappearance and the occasional impossibility of capturing a face, an expression, a spirit, a demeanour, or a soul.
