Boyana church entrance ticket (10 lev) to be paid in cash at the entrance of the church
Rila Monastery museum and monk room entrance ticket (8 lev) to be paid in cash at the museum entrance
Bring cash with you (in the local currency) – the shops and the restaurants in the area of the monastery accept only cash payments
The expected return to Sofia is between 5.00pm and 5.30 pm
The Boyana church is closed on the 1st of January, on the Sunday of the Orthodox Easter, on the 24th of December, 25th of December and the 31st of December
If a tour is booked on one of these days, the tour will only go to the Rila Monastery
