Passeio a pé para grupos pequenos pela Cidade Velha do Funchal

A nice little walking tour around the old town with details from our guide as we visited several local highlights. Our group did this on the first day as it seemed like a fantastic introduction to the island's history and local knowledge. The guide was fantastic, she gave us a lot of details and answered all questions. Very good value for money.

Joao our guide was incredible. At the start of our tour, he took time to understand what we wanted from our tour, and then made sure along the way to check he had answered all our questions. Very good value. Guide was excellent. We learned a lot and she was good company. Sometimes a bit hard to hear everything because of background noise, but overall, would definitely recommend and the wine tasting at the end was an unexpected bonus.

It was very informative and the pace wasn’t too strenuous. The guide would stop at various places and give relevant information. For someone who hasn’t been to Funchal before, it was an excellent basis for finding places in the city. The young guide was very friendly and considerate.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and considerate for the whole group. Guide had right number of visitors not too many and not too low to mange. It was a wonderful experience. I would strongly recommend tourists to take this tour on their first day to get an insight of the Funchal town, this helps to arrange remaining holiday in a better way. Thanks to Guide.

The directions to the start could be better. We did find it eventually, and then we had to help some others who were struggling to find the starting place. Patricia our guide was excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
