It only takes about an hour to get to Calpe from Benidorm, so why not take the scenic route and enjoy the lovely coastline while you travel. You'll sail past the stunning cliffs of the Serra Gelada, the striking town of Altea, with its blue-domed church and pebbled beach and also the bay of Albir.
On arrival at Calpe, you'll disembark at the main port, near the impressive Penyal d'Ifac. Part of the National Park, it is a massive limestone outcrop which rises out of the sea and is linked to the shore by rock debris.
You'll have plenty of time to explore the elegant town of Calpe. It boasts pristine beaches, great shopping and a wide variety of seafood restaurants. And then there's the return journey to look forward to – a relaxing cruise along beautiful coves and beaches.
