A duo of Mexican delights await on this full day tour from Cancun. The adventure begins at the break of dawn with a journey to experience the wonder of Chichen Itza, a UNESCO-listed ancient Maya city. Then, wind down with a swim in a natural underground cenote cave. Hugo, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘The early start is worth it – we'll arrive first thing in the morning to experience the magic of the ruins in the soft sunlight and beat the heat'.

A guided tour of the ruined city reveals the stories of this remarkable site. It's not hard to imagine the daily lives of the community that lived here and built these impressive monuments. After the guided tour, enjoy free time to make the most of exploring this archaeological treasure trove as you wish. Hugo adds, ‘This ancient city isn't just about admiring the grandeur of El Castillo, but also about feeling the pulse of the Maya civilization that thrived here centuries ago. Don't miss the Great Ball Court—imagine the echoes of the past as players competed in this very spot.'

Next, you'll be whisked away to Cenote Tsukán. Cenotes are believed by the Maya to be portals to the underworld, and they are revered in traditional culture. Here, you will plunge into the limpid waters, participate in a traditional ceremony and feel your senses awaken in glorious natural surroundings. Afterwards, you'll enjoy a tasty local lunch, savouring the flavours of regional cuisine prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

Silvestre the guide was AMAZING and the driver Carlos as well. The guide was funny and knowledgeable and managed to have our attention all the time, no boring parts in his explanation. I would have loved to have more free time in the chichen itzá site as we didn’t manage to see everything that we wanted.

Brilliant trip. Our guide Fabian as incredible with is knowledge and the way he managed the group. My only thought would be more time needed at the cenote. At least 1 hr extra to really enjoy the cenote and buffet food. Also grounds were beautiful

Enjoyed almost all of it. The reason I only gave value for money only 8 was because the lunch was very basic, ant the staff there were touting for tips! Everything else was superb. The tour guide Navi, I think or his nickname, Netflix, was super. Great guy ??

????? This tour was an excellent experience from start to finish. The guide (Nefy)was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both engaging and informative. Everything was well organized, and we got to see and learn far more than we would have on our own. The pace was comfortable, and there was plenty of time for questions and photos. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting — it was a real highlight of the trip.

Excellent excursion - highly recommended. Tomas, our guide, was outstanding. Only area to improve on is the wait from the hotel pick up to then being transferred to a larger coach. We had to wait at the Bus Station for about 40-45 minutes. This might have been unusual as, on the way back when we got off the coach at the bus station our Mini-bus was already there waiting to bring us back to the hotel.

The chichen Mayan ruins and Cenote tour was first class the guide first class and service first class. The bad points way to many vendors at the Mayan ruins hassling you to buy something from them the lunch provided at cenote was absolutely terrible so bad we couldn’t eat it. The pick up at 5-15 am was way to early as we were on our way back to our hotel at 12-30 pm no need to leave this early at all could have left later in morning as both venues were no to busy the £127 price is ridiculous.
