Syyskuun 19. päivänä 2021 La Palman lähelle muodostui uusi tulivuoren kraatteri. Aiemmin Cumbre Vieja -nimellä tunnettu tulivuori purkautui, mikä muutti täysin maiseman kaupungin länsipuolella. Vaeltaessasi 5 kilometriä vastikään ristityllä Tajogaitella – säröinen vuori – pääset melkein kraatterille. Sieltä avautuvat hienot näkymät laavavirroille ja Aridanen laaksoon.

Guide was excellent

We wasn’t told to take warm clothing as the morning at the start point was cold, damp and very windy. You should probably advise future customers to take warm clothing. We were on a tour ran by Isla bonita tours and the only tu customers on the trip, everyone else was dressed for the conditions.

Excellent trip and hike. Advised to wear walking boots or shoes due to the terrain and something warm to wear as the temperature drops when reaching the to of the hike Missed some information on the bus back as the guide didn't have a microphone.
