This tour will take you to explore some of the most emblematic destinations in Asturias, travelling by private transport from Oviedo to the Covadonga Lakes. You will have an expert guide and a well-planned itinerary, but also free time to discover each place at your own pace.
You will leave early in the morning to reach the lakes and enjoy the nature of the Picos de Europa National Park. During the journey, you will travel along mountain roads, which offer spectacular views. Upon arrival at the lakes, you will have unlimited access with this excursion. Climb up to the Entrelagos viewpoint to see the lakes of Ercina and Enol, while exploring the rest of the park.
The next destination is the Basilica of Covadonga, where you'll learn about the history of Don Pelayo and the origin of the Reconquest. Enjoy free time to explore the Sanctuary, the tomb of Don Pelayo and the Cave of the Santina. Then, head to Cangas de Onís, where you'll have free time to visit the town.
On the way back, you'll skirt the Asturian coast, with panoramic views of the beaches of La Espasa, La Isla and La Griega. Stop in Lastres, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, stroll through the village and take in stunning views from its impressive viewpoint. You'll be back in Oviedo around 8:00 pm.
