In this half-day tour, you will explore the beautiful coastal landscapes of Asturias, visiting two of its charming seaside villages and the northernmost lighthouse.
The first stop will be to visit the village of Cudillero. Here, you will enjoy a nice walk along its beautiful harbour and pier. You will then head up to the Garita viewpoint, where the views of the village and the ocean are spectacular. In Cudillero, you’ll walk through its charming streets until we reach Plaza de la Iglesia, where you’ll find the impressive Church of Santa María, a true architectural treasure, and enjoy some free time here.
The next stop will be in Avilés, a town that combines history and modernity in a fascinating way. You’ll immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful green spaces and a picturesque harbour. On the tour, you will visit iconic places such as Plaza de España, the Town Hall, and the Church of San Nicolás, or the colourful and charming Calle de la Ferrería. You’ll also explore the impressive Niemeyer Center, an architectural gem designed by the famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. Although you will only have time to admire its exterior, it will leave you speechless!
To wrap up the tour on a high note, you will visit the Cabo Peñas Lighthouse, the northernmost point of the Asturian coast. This stunning lighthouse, built in the 19th century, offers breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and the Atlantic Ocean.
