You will be picked up early by bus for a tour of the mountain roads of Asturias. After about two hours, you will arrive at the Covadonga Lakes, where you can explore the park and its surroundings in detail. Ideal for exploring at your own pace, enjoying the scenery and admiring the lakes of Enol and Ercina.
Next, you'll head to the Sanctuary of Covadonga for a walking tour to see the Basilica of the Virgin and the Cave of the Santina, whilst discovering the history of Pelayo. There's free time to explore the sanctuary before continuing to Cangas de Onís, a key town in eastern Asturias. The guide will give you a brief introduction, and you'll have about two hours to enjoy lunch, walk along the Roman bridge or simply relax.
On the way back, the bus takes a panoramic route along the Cantabrian coast, passing the beaches of La Espasa, La Isla and La Griega. You'll then stop in Lastres, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, where a guided tour of the village and its impressive viewpoint from the heights awaits. You'll be back in Gijón around 7:30 pm.
