Your evening begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Tromsø. Step into a modern heated 4x4 minivan, where a small group of no more than eight travellers sets out into the Arctic night with a professional guide and photographer.
The journey follows clear skies across the stunning landscapes of northern Norway. With flexible routes and no mileage limits, the chase may lead through fjords, valleys, mountains, and even across borders if conditions require. The focus is always on finding the best spot where the Northern Lights can appear.
Throughout the night, your guide tracks real-time weather and aurora activity, adjusting the route as needed. This approach gives guests one of the highest chances of success. Most nights last between six and ten hours, ensuring the time needed to reach clear skies and wait for the aurora.
Once the Northern Lights appear, you will stand beneath the Arctic sky as your guide captures the moment with professional DSLR photos. Thermal overalls are provided to keep warm, while hot drinks and light snacks are served by the fire or at chosen resting stops.
