This tour combines free time at the archaeological site of Cobá with the Chococacaomaya Sanctuary. Receive a shaman's blessing before delving into the rich history of Mayan cocoa at this jungle sanctuary. Expert chocolate makers will give you a tour, where you'll learn all about the stages the chocolate making. After, you'll get stuck into a unique workshop promoting the conservation of the stingless Maya bee. Experience medicinal honey harvesting and craft honey soaps to take home with you.

The chocolate side was great however the rest was not, we had no idea what we was doing didn't bring enough cash out as we thought the card would be ok. We was only given 1hour at the coba which was not long enough we felt very rushed! We also felt very confused with how the day was going to go. So overall the coba experience was a let down however the chocolate experience was lovely.
