Your experience takes place at a splendid wine bar, located in the heart of the Old Town and offering an impressive selection of over 250 different Macedonian wines.

Upon arrival, your host will welcome you with a traditional local drink. The tasting then begins as the first wine is poured. A professional sommelier will guide you through the proper way to taste wine, sharing insights into each wine’s origin, flavour profile, producer, and quality. This process continues throughout all tasting rounds.As you enjoy the wines, local food platters will be served to complement the flavours. The wines were lovely as was the food. The venue was perfect and the bar staff were helpful and friendly. Loads of helpful information and the experience was interesting.

De eigenaar van Bachus was heel vriendelijk en heel goed onderlegd. We hadden met zijn zessen een gezellige avond. Veel over de wijnen geleerd. Het enige minpunt was dat hij bij aanvang niets wist van onze inschrijving (tui?). Maar hij wist er meteen op in te spelen en zorgde dat alles in orde was. Bedankt!!

Je kan net zo goed voor 3 wijnen boeken want je krijgt toch altijd wel 4 wijnen! Scheelt weer geld haha. Daarnaast zou ik buiten Tui om een wijnproeverij boeken, bijvoorbeeld die bij de Monestry. Veel leukere ervaring, wordt veel meer uitgelegd, meer hapjes (bij elke wijn), en een rondleiding. Bij die van Tui krijg je weinig uitleg en een klein plankje met kaas en vlees, thats it.

Vriendelijke gastheer en heel goed verzorgd! De wijnen en hapjes waren erg lekker en het was erg leuk en interessant om te leren over de Macedonische wijnen.

I was the only person that had booked for that evening. I was offered to rebook by the staff at the bar but I was unable to do so, the tour company didn’t let me know but perhaps that’s not what they do. The snacks offered were nice.

The venue was good and atmosphere ok.Disappointing was the way the “wine tasting” was delivered.There was no explanation of the wine.We were shown the bottle, it was poured and then the lady left to serve other customers.This happened with all 3 wines and at the end of the time she just cleared things away without saying anything
