The Rives de Clausen form a district with bars and restaurants that was set up on the site of the former Luxembourg brewery Mousel. Located along the Alzette, they offer a variety of gastronomic offers and attract a cosmopolitan audience typical of Luxembourg.
Surrounded on its rock by the Alzette, stands the Rham Plateau, uniquely opposite the impressive old town of Luxembourg. It has been incorporated into the fortress city of Luxembourg since the 15th century and later expanded by Vauban with four mighty military barracks. Today seniors can enjoy the quiet location and the recently wonderfully restored buildings on the plateau.
Take the opportunity and get off, walk in the shade of the 100-year-old plane trees, and climb the hill behind the four old towers to admire a great view of the former fortress, the Holy Spirit Citadel, and the Corniche.
