Take part in this Etna and Taormina tour from Catania to discover the natural and artistic beauties of Sicily on one single tour. The first stop on your tour will be Mt. Etna, with stops along the way from the city to the volcano, allowing you to admire the panorama from various vantage points.

Once at an altitude of 1,900 m, you'll begin your trekking tour along one of the Etna Park paths. Your expert guide will tell you about the volcano's history and the area's territory, allowing you to discover the last eruptions and showing you some ancient extinct craters. Leaving the volcano, you'll be led to discover a lava flow rock cave.

Afterward, stop at a farm to enjoy a tasting of local products like honey, wine, and oil. Head towards Taormina aboard a van, take in panoramic views of Isola Bella, a wild natural beauty named "pearl of the Ionian", from above.

After a lunch break, you'll spend the afternoon visiting the picturesque city of Taormina. Along the town's main street, Corso Umberto, you'll admire the most important monuments, including Palazzo Corvaja, Taormina's Medieval castle, or the city's ancient Greek theatre. Walk through the lively Piazza IX Aprile, and admire the imposing clock tower and the city dome.

Mooie afwisselende dagtrip! Wel vonden wij het jammer dat het behoorlijk prijzig is om verder naar boven te gaan dan het punt waar de tour je brengt. Als je de vulkaan / het gebied beter wilt bekijken, betaal je flink extra. Wijnproeverij had niet gehoeven, beetje commercieel en niet zo bijzonder.

Tour bellissimo purtroppo in una giornata molto molto piovosa. Per fortuna Enzo la nostra guida, ci ha intrattenuto ci ha divertito ma soprattutto ci ha fatto vedere e conoscere, per quanto possibile, un territorio incredibile. Peccato la pioggia e il forte vento si 2000 mi dell’Etna.

Mooie afwisselende dagtrip! Wel vonden wij het jammer dat het behoorlijk prijzig is om verder naar boven te gaan dan het punt waar de tour je brengt. Als je de vulkaan / het gebied beter wilt bekijken, betaal je flink extra. Wijnproeverij had niet gehoeven, beetje commercieel en niet zo bijzonder.
